Get Involved!
The best way to get involved is to stay involved. No matter where you end up after completing your semester as an Archer Fellow, there are plenty of ways to be an active member of the Archer Fellow Alumni Association (AFAA).
Join Your Local AFAA Chapter! From New York City to San Francisco, there are active AFAA chapters across the country and throughout Texas. AFAA chapters provide opportunities for alumni to network, socialize, give back to the local community and support the ongoing efforts of the Archer Center. Find the AFAA chapter closest to you on Facebook or AFAA Connect.
Be A Mentor! Make a difference in the experience of an Archer Fellow! The Archer Center matches working professionals in the D.C. area with undergraduate Archer Fellows each fall and spring semester. Mentors provide their Fellows with guidance on everything from job searching and networking to living in D.C. Mentoring a Fellow is a rewarding way to stay involved with the Archer Center and make an impact in the life of a UT System student. Contact the Archer Center at [email protected] to learn more about serving as a mentor.
