Testimonial
“The Archer Fellowship Program truly changed my life. Through the Archer Center, I was able to intern at the White House, I gained lifelong friendships, and I even got my current job in D.C. at Akin, Gump through an Archer Center connection. I recently was accepted to UT Law. A law school admissions officer told me afterward that the Archer Fellowship Program significantly boosted my application. I would not have been able to participate in the Archer Fellowship without receiving financial assistance through the Archer Center—specifically through the first-generation college scholarship award. As someone who does not receive financial assistance from their parents, the investment from the Archer Center made a huge difference in my life. Not only am I the first person in my family to receive a bachelor’s degree, but when I complete law school, I will be the first in my extended family to receive any sort of advanced degree. The Archer Center changed my life. It can change the life of not only an individual but an entire family and future generations to come.”
Michael Stanley, Fall 2017 Archer Fellow
