Thank you for your interest in the Archer Fellowship Program. The Archer Center provides undergraduate students from across The University of Texas System a unique opportunity to live, learn, and intern in the nation's capital for a fall or spring semester. 

The 2025-2026 Archer Fellowship Program application is now closed. The 2026-2027 Archer Fellowship Program application will open in November 2025.

Eligibility Requirements 
Required to apply and at the time of participation:
  • ​Overall GPA: 3.0 or higher
  • Applicant must be pursuing a bachelor's  degree at a University of Texas System institution
  • Previous work or internship experience
  • Campus leadership and/or community involvement
Required by semester of participation:
  •  Junior or senior status by years and hours (first and second year students are not eligible) 
  • 24 hours of in-residence credit completed at the student's UT System home campus 
  • Completion of basic (core) government curriculum ​requirements
