2005 News and Highlights

The Archer Center held an alumni scholarship fundraiser on October 26, 2005. The fundraiser brought in more than the $10,000 necessary to endow a scholarship which will be given to financially needy Archer Fellows in future semesters.

The Fall 2005 Archer Fellows took a group boat trip on the Potomac River from Alexandria, VA to Mount Vernon, the estate of President George Washington. Click here for a photo.

The Fall 2005 class of Archer Fellows has arrived in Washington, D.C. This semester boasts the largest class ever, featuring 20 undergraduates from seven UT System campuses. The Archer Center announces Welcome to the Beltway 2005, a 4-day Washington, D.C. seminar for UT Austin undergraduates. The ninth class of Archer Fellows came to Washington, D.C. for a semester of internship, learning and adventure. The Spring 2005 class consists of 16 students from UT Arlington, UT Austin and UT Dallas.
