Application Process

2013-2014 Undergraduate Archer Fellowship Program Application

Thank you for your interest in becoming an Archer Fellow. The experience of living and working in Washington, D.C., is unlike any other and we are pleased to be able to offer this program to undergraduate students of The University of Texas System. The application deadline for the 2013-2014 academic year is Friday, February 22, 2013. Finalists will be notified by March 8, 2013 and will be invited to participate in an on-campus interview in March or April. Students selected to participate in the program will be notified on or before Friday, April 19, 2013. To be considered for the program, you must complete all sections of the application and submit it with all requested attachments by the application deadline to your UT System Campus Coordinator.

Eligibility Requirements

Required to apply and at the time of participation:

• Overall GPA: 3.0 or higher
• Previous work or internship experience
• Campus leadership experience and/or community involvement

Required by semester of participation:

• Junior or senior status
• 24 hours completed in-residence
• Completion of basic government requirements

Application Timeline

September - January: Attend a campus information session - Schedule

November 1: Early Application Deadline (for students studying abroad during the Spring 2013 semster)

February 22: Application Deadline for 2013-2014 academic year

March 8: Finalists are notified

March and April: On-campus interviews are conducted with finalists

April 19: Students selected to participate in program are notified
