Application Process

2012-2013 Undergraduate Archer Fellowship Application

Thank you for your interest in becoming an Archer Fellow. The experience of living and working in Washington, D.C. is like none other and we are pleased to be able to offer this program to undergraduate students from The University of Texas System. The application deadline for the 2012-2013 academic year is Friday, February 17, 2012. Finalists will be notified by March 1, 2012 and will be expected to participate in an on-campus interview to be scheduled in late February or early March. Students selected to participate in the program will be notified on or before Friday, April 20, 2012. To be considered for the program, you must complete all sections of this application and return it with all requested attachments by the application deadline to your campus contact.

Requirements:

• Junior or senior status
• Overall GPA: 3.0 or higher
• Previous work or internship experience
• Completion of government requirements
• 24 hours completed in residence
• Campus leadership experience and/or community involvement

Application Timeline

September - January: Attend a campus information session - Schedule

November 1: Early Application Deadline (for students studying abroad in spring 2012)

February 17: Application Deadline for 2012-2013 academic year

March 1: Finalists are notified

March: Interviews of finalists are conducted

April 20 : Students selected to participate in program are notified
