Jeffrey J. Dye Leadership Foundation

The Archer Center is pleased to be affiliated with the Jeffrey J. Dye Leadership Foundation (JJDLF), which awards one scholarship each spring and fall to a deserving Archer Fellow from UT Austin. The mission of the JJDLF is to identify high potential students, inspire them toward goals in the public service arena and educate them about governmental and political processes in order to help make the world a better place.

The JJDLF was chartered as a non-profit corporation on September 29, 1997 to perpetuate the memory and spirit of a dynamic individual who passed away suddenly in 1997 at the early age of 27. Jeff Dye was a passionate devotee of the American system of government who took great delight in participating in its political processes in order to stimulate positive changes in the lives of its citizens. He was a graduate of UT Austin.

This year, the JJDLF decided to award not one, but two Fellows for the fall 2006 semester because they both "demonstrated the most burning desire to impact the political process." The Center and the Jeffrey J. Dye Leadership Foundation are proud to announce the following recipients:
